Driving to Omaha
Omaha is conveniently located in the center of the county and in the heart of the Midwest at the junction of Interstates I-80, which runs from San Francisco, California to the New York City Metro Area and I-29, which runs from Kansas City, Missouri to the Canada-U.S. border. Upon arrival, you’ll find the city is easy to navigate. The city street system is designed as a grid; Dodge Street divides the city north and south, and numbered streets start at the Missouri River and increase as you drive west.
