Airport Information

Omaha Eppley Airfield (OMA) is the largest airport in Nebraska and serves Nebraska’s largest city, Omaha, and surrounding communities and is commonly hailed as the gateway to the Midwest.  Eppley Airfield is served by major U.S. airlines (either directly or through their regional subsidiaries), offering nonstop flights to a host of U.S. cities with connections around the world.

The airport is located just four miles northeast of Omaha, and is a 10-minute drive to Omaha.

Shuttles

The Ground Transportation Center is located just inside Door #3 on the lower level of the terminal building. Telephones are located at that location for direct connection with certain shuttles. Local hotel/motel (with or without shuttles) on phone boards/reservation centers is located near the north and south baggage claim areas.

Rental Cars

Rental car counters are located at Eppley Airfield near Door #3. Ready car spaces are located on the first level of the surface parking structure (north of the 6 story parking garage), via a covered walkway across from Door #5.

 

Driving to Omaha

Omaha is conveniently located in the center of the county and in the heart of the Midwest at the junction of Interstates I-80, which runs from San Francisco, California to the New York City Metro Area and I-29, which runs from Kansas City, Missouri to the Canada-U.S. border.  Upon arrival, you’ll find the city is easy to navigate. The city street system is designed as a grid; Dodge Street divides the city north and south, and numbered streets start at the Missouri River and increase as you drive west.
